Over the Moon is a duo formed in September 2002 combining the haunting violin and vocals of Jude Iddison with the enticing rhythm guitar of Charles Lemann. They perform exclusively original music composed by Jude. She has developed an eclectic repertoire that combines tastes of celtic, latin, classical, eastern european, calypso, funk, reggae music and together they produce a warm, rich and energetic sound.
The music of Jude Iddison is well known to audiences in the south west of Western Australia. She was lead singer, violinist and composer with popular south coast band Midnight Mahina. Together with this group she has performed at Fairbridge Festival, Celebrate Albany Festival, Kulcha and numerous other southern venues. She has been a casual violinist with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and her compositions reflect her diverse musical influences.
Her partner Charles Lemann joins her on guitar in this their first group together, after years as a lounge room player, managing Midnight Mahina and looking after the kids!
